The ojo de Dios applet you see here (if you
have a Java-enabled browser) is a little doodle— pure eye candy—
that I hacked out back in 1996 while teaching myself the
Java programming language.
To me, Java remains the most exciting technology to emerge
in my profession in a very long time.
(Changes in the language now may cause some harmless
error messages in your browser log as you leave this page, but nostalgia
prevents me recompiling the applet; after all: how often do you see a
ten-year-old .class file?)
